Logistic and IT Officer

The Terre des Hommes Foundation (lausanne) a Swiss-based internation non governmental organization dedictated to children assistance and protection is looking for an expereinced
Position: Logistic and IT Officer
Location: Jerusalem Office with regular trips to Hebron Base.
Duration : 6 months renewable

Main Tasks and responsibilities :
1- To coordinate and supervise logistic department in collaboration with the administrative and logistic coordinator the Delegate and the field team.
2-To ensure than TDH logistic procedures are followed at all time at the delegation and on the field base.
3- To ensure the procurement  of Jerusalem office and Hebron base according to TDH procedures
4- To ensure IT maintinance ,repairing and to follow up the equipment status.
5-To monitor TDH fleet (movements,maintinance and fuel consumption) in relation with the drivers.
6-To follow up the ongoing contracts according to needs.
7-To provide Timely and accurate logistic reports to the Administrative and logisic Coordinator and he Delegate.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE :
1-At least three years experience in logistic management position and or IT position
2-University Graduated on IT management
3-Excellent computer skills (Word,Excell,and internet)
4-Ability to report and write in English
5-Fluency in English ,Arabic and proficient in Hebrew.

PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED :
1-Ability to be flexible and to work autonomously
2-Strong organizational skills.
3-Good communication skills and training skills for team management.
4-Understanding,interest and commitment to Humanitarian activities.
