Job Summary:
You will effectively perform various activities throughout the implementation of all day-to-day logistics activities to assist in having goods and services arrived timely to serve the poor and vulnerable. Your knowledge and experience will allow you to coordinate commodity and logistics needs and challenges and the implementation of solutions, as you apply the principles of stewardship, integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the supply chain team and relevant programming staff on logistics services that meet the pipeline requirements. Help identify challenges in supply chain management and provide recommendations to address those.
- Support the implementation of delivery operations from arrival of goods in-country (or local purchase point) to the warehouses and on to the final distribution centers in accordance with CRS and donor regulations and international and local supply chain standards and requirements.
- Support requestors in preparing comprehensive Purchase Requisition Forms, including Request for Goods and Services (RFGSs),
- Assist in maintaining the procurement plan and tracking tool to facilitate timely communication of procurement needs, status updates on orders, and effective service delivery. This includes maintaining the procurement shared folder and tracking ongoing Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQCs) and related invoices.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Officer in identifying competent, reputable, and reliable suppliers. This may involve following up with the Gaza team to obtain price offers and preparing Sole Source forms.
- Conduct visits to supplier sites, stores, and production facilities to gather information and support the due diligence process. Assist in conducting market analysis in Amman.
- Purchase items in accordance with CRS procurement documents, instructions, and standards.
- Prepare Payment Requests, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and on file to facilitate timely payments to vendors. Follow up with requestors, suppliers, and other relevant parties to address any deficiencies or discrepancies.
- Link Purchase Orders with all donor requirements and mandatory clauses, forwarding them to suppliers.
Follow up with suppliers until Purchase Orders are signed and prepare payments accordingly.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software preferably Bisan system.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of USAID regulations and procedures is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Required.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in supporting procurement/purchasing, logistics, and/or administration processes and activities.
- Good writing skills.
- Knowledge of local market conditions.
- Knowledge in MS Office package (Excel and Word).
- Valid Driving License
Required Languages – Arabic and English. Hebrew is a Plus.
Travel – 25% of travel required in Gaza.
Please note that this position is limited to candidates who are currently residing in North Gaza and Gaza City.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with typing/word processing, data entry into online databases and forms, and working with various office equipment.
- Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and information management systems. Proficient in Word.
