Logistics and Procurement Manager

Position title: Logistics and Procurement Manager
Department: Logistic department
Date needed: start date: ASAP

End date: 31st of October 2014 with possibility of Extension

Scope of work:
Plan and execute tenders and purchase orders for all procurement.
Manage and oversee logistics department staff as well as departments namely, warehouse, asset management, procurement and transport departments.
Collect bids and contact suppliers.
Maintain preferred supplier lists.
Ensure procurement and logistical compliance with all donor regulations.
Arrange importation of goods and ensure clearance through borders and chain of custody where required.
Assist the Finance Department on any documentation relevant to procurement and audit requests.
Assist the Mission Director in organizing program events and conferences.
Provide logistical support to all programs in compliance with IMC’s standard logistics procedures.
Maintain and update monthly IMC Gaza assets and inventory list and conduct physical verification with other staff.
Assist the Mission Director in any administrative requirements as well as GIK clearance.
Provide weekly and monthly logistics reports.
Responsible for managing minor office/guest house repairs and payment of utilities including telephone and internet.
Coordinate with the Security and Liaison Manager on any travel arrangements and reservations needed.
Ensure all reporting for donors and headquarters is submitted on time.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Perform any other additional duty on request of his /her supervisor.

Logistics report

Minimum qualification:
University degree in related field.
Minimum 3 year experience with NGOs.
Very good knowledge of USAID requirements
Excellent verbal and written  English Language skills
