Islamic Relief France/Secours Islamique France is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in1992 assists the poorest people through its emergency relief, rehabilitation, development & child welfare programs in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist regardless the race, religion or gender. Secours Islamique France (SIF) invites application from qualified international or national applicants for the following post:

Logistics Officer (Ref #: 2014/01/LO)
To be responsible for the overall management of logistics & procurement aspects of Secours Islamique France

Candidates must possess the following competencies:
-University degree or its equivalent in logistics , procurement or a related field
-3-5 Years of experience in logistics & procurement management in INGOs or LNGOs.
-A clear understanding of logistic & procurement ethics and donors compliance is essential.
-Excellent understanding of development & relief emergency issues in the Palestinian Territory.
-Ability to work on owns initiative as well as a part of a team.
-Proficiency in written & spoken Arabic & English correspondents, French is a plus.
-Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) functionality.
-Ability to travel between Gaza Strip & West Bank and abroad.
-Commitment and sympathy to the plight of the poor and disadvantaged people.
-Broad knowledge & understanding of Islamic principles as they apply to development & relief emergency issues.
-Energetic and able to work under stressful conditions meeting strict deadlines.
-Communication, organizations, & negotiation skills.
