Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a French based humanitarian international agency was founded in1992 to assist the poorest people through its emergency relief, rehabilitation, development & child welfare programs in over 30 countries wherever humanitarian and social needs exist regardless the race, religion or gender. Secours Islamique France is seeking qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy:

Logistics & Security Officer (Ref #: 2016/04/ LSO) 

To be responsible for the overall management of Logistics & Security aspects in Gaza Strip & work directly with Head of Mission –Gaza Strip.

Qualifications & Experiences:
Qualifications & Experiences:
1-University degree in one field of Social Sciences/Administration/logistics/Procurement or a related field.
2-5 Years of experience in logistics and security with NGO / international organization.   
3-Formal training in security risk management is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
-Demonstrated experience in complex and volatile contexts
-Demonstrated ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in speech and writing.
-Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic required. French is an advantage.
-Ability to cope with situations of high risk in compliance with security measures ;work under pressure in the social, political, & physical environments of Gaza Strip.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-A clear understanding of logistic & procurement ethics and donors compliance is essential. 
-Excellent understanding of development & relief emergency issues in the Palestinian Territory.
-Computer skills particularly in MS Office applications, internet and e-mail.
-Understanding of and commitment to the principles, concerns, and considerations of SIF in regard to issues of race, religion, class, age, gender and disabilities.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality of information as well as trustworthy and gender-sensitive
-Ability to lead and participate in teams but also to work independently.
-Good knowledge of communications equipment and operations
-Understanding and familiarity with governmental protocols with regard safety and security and movement of people and goods.
-Ability to develop and manage a computer data base and tracking systems
-Ability to write professional letters and reports in English and Arabic
-Ability to travel between Gaza Strip & West Bank and abroad.
-Energetic and able to work under stressful conditions meeting strict deadlines.
-Communication, organizations, & negotiation skills.
-Training in internationally recognized logistics and security protocols is desired
-Valid driving license
