The Center for Defense of Liberties & Civil Rights “Hurryyat” is a human rights none governmental organization located in Ramallah. Hurryyat is an active organization in strengthening the culture of respect to HR-IHL and the Palestinian basic law which guarantee human basic rights, focusing on the United Nations Convention against Torture (UNCAT), especially after Palestine’s accession to 15 international treaties including UNCAT, where falls the obligation of Palestinian human rights organizations towards protecting, respecting and fulfilling the enumerated rights.

Hurryyat is hereby looking for an M&E expert, who will work directly with the project team to collect all related information needed to conduct a final evaluation of the project implementation through the 36 months of implementation. The M&E expert hereby, is expected to provide a fully constructed report covering the mentioned period.

The purpose for this evaluation is to assess the performance of the project and capture project achievements, challenges and best practises to inform future similar programming. The evaluation will also ensure accountability towards European Union as a donor and the beneficiaries of the program. On the other hand, it offers a learning aspect for all stakeholders. The evaluation will also identify key lessons learned, challenges and the flexibility of the programme to adapt and respond to the changes and sustainability of Torture prohibition in Palestine.
