Maintenance Engineer
Introduction
The Palestine Children's Relief Fund is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonreligious humanitarian relief organization, established in 1992 to arrange medical care for sick and injured Palestinian children who could not be treated in their homeland. Since our founding, we have expanded and grown into one of the main relief organizations in the Middle East, helping thousands of children each year get the care and support they need to live better lives.
PCRF is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer.
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Program/ Unit: Projects Management
Reporting Line: Projects Manager and Gaza Area Manager
Location: Gaza Cancer Department and Gaza Offices
Position Type: Consultancy Basis - 24 hours per week
Duties:
1. Floor leather maintenance (repair, wax, polish, etc.)
2. Desalination plant maintenance
3. Water heater maintenance
4. Maintenance of medical devices and tools (medical monitors, dental chair, pharmacy refrigerators, laboratory, blood bank, etc.)
5. Maintenance of electrical appliances in the department (TVs, displays, washing machine, dryer, refrigerator, etc.)
6. Maintenance of air conditioning units
7. Plumbing maintenance
8. Maintenance of wood and aluminum works (sections, daily clinic, playing room, meeting room, and library) 9. Generator maintenance and supplies
10. Maintenance of electronic devices (computers, printers, etc.)
11. Painting works maintenance
12. False ceiling maintenance and supplies
13. Water power plant maintenance
14. Maintenance of department furniture and patient beds
15. Internet service at the department
16. Assistance in obtaining quotations for some projects of the Gaza office
17. Supervising the engineering works required for projects in Gaza
18. Communicating with the engineers of the Ministry of Health regarding the cancer department needs

Educational Background and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance.
- Strong communications skills in English and Arabic.
- Computer literate and proficient in, Autodesk and Microsoft Windows.
- Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
-Ability to work on weekends when needed
