Male Community Educator

POSITION TITLE:    Male Community Educator
DATE NEEDED:Start date: November 2014   
End date:  Jan 2013

Scope of Work:
-Deliver sessions to husbands of the female workshop participants
-Regular meetings with the male population in the community IMC is implementing activities
-Implement awareness sessions for the male population in the community with regards to IMCs program
-Implement activities that are designed to improve IMCs reputation within the community.
-Provide feedback to Childhood Specialist on participants response to the material
-Monitor and support the implementation of community activities.
-Help to schedule lessons and plan attendance of husbands
-Utilize and collect attendance sheet and other required monitoring and evaluation tools
-Provide lists of materials required for workshops and/ or trainings
-Any other duty as requested by line manager

Deliverables:
-Workshop sessions
-Participant Attendance Sheets
-Filled out M&E tools
-Monitor Community Activities

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree
-At least 1 year of teaching or training in the field of Child Protection
-Technical understanding of Child Psychology or Early Childhood Development.
-Progressive experience in working with communities
-Good English

Skills:
-Experience in teaching/training/Facilitation
-Flexibility and high motivation to learn
-Strong commitment to working with communities
