Position:  Marketing and Communication Officer
Location: Ramallah, with travel throughout Palestine

Partners for Sustainable Development (PSD) is a Palestinian NGO working towards applying sustainable development approaches in community and economic development. PSD’s programs are implemented through a network of Community Learning and Development Centers (CLDCs) located in Jenin, Salfeet, Tubas, Nablus, Hebron and South Hebron.
Position Summary:
When Utilizing marketing principles, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the illustration and design of all components of promotional materials, including print and web-based media. The Incumbent will help to increase PSD’s visibility through the generation of ideas and creation of promotional methods.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
-Provide communicational advice including crafting of relevant messages, use of the right media channels which will be done by critically developing strategic solutions to given communications challenges.
-Produce compelling news stories/press releases, internal newsletters, media briefings, Questions and Answers, training documents, presentation materials and other communications products reflecting themes and priority areas.
-Lead the illustration and design of the promotional materials including print and web-based media.
-Work with CEO and staff on idea generation and creation of new promotional methods intended to increase awareness of programs and encourage enrolment.
-Produce communication resources for PSD web and social media outlets
-Participate in communications planning and briefing for example press conferences and media interviews
-Develop strong media relations with key local and international media to promote PSD profile.
-Collect reports and information from different PSD’s projects and prepare it in a professional reporting conduct. 

QUALIFICATIONS
-3-5 years experience in marketing, communications PR, reporting in a multinational environment.
-Very strong track record in English and Arabic languages writing for marketing, PR and communications purposes.
-Strong skills in outreach, marketing, public relations and reporting.
-BA or Master’s degree in a related field
