The Palestinian Water Authority is implementing several water supply schemes in the northern areas in West Bank (Maythaloun, Tubas and Tammoun) financed by the Agence Francaise De
Developpement ( AFD) .The projects include bulk components as equipping of wells, main transmission lines and distribution of water networks and water bulk.
PWA is recruiting three project engineers for these projects, one mechanical and two civil engineers:
Project period: 12 months.

The main duties of the candidates are:
1-Supervise all construction activities starting from issuing the commencement order to the successful completion of operation of the constructed works.
2-Supervise Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures.
3-Ensure a comprehensive documentation and record keeping system of the project.
4-Conduct site visits for regular check up
5-Review, comment and approve any deliverables related to the project.
6-Follow up project timeline, milestones and critical paths.’
7-Monitor project startup and operations and maintenance program and defects liability programs.
8-Supervise the Contractor to implement the environmental constraints and regulations.
9-Follow up on the implementation of the work plan to adhere to the construction schedule
10-Review contractors shop drawings and materials submittals.
11-Supervise and monitor Contractor’s work and carry out testing during commissioning period and
approve contractors as-built drawings

Profile of the candidates:
University degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering
5 years of professional experience.
3 years experience in Projects engineering and supervision.
Fluent in English and Arabic
Excellent Computer skills
Excellent command of report writing and construction site management tools
Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
Valid driving License
