Media Consultant

The YWCA of Jerusalem is a membership-based women's organization registered locally as an NGO and located in Sheikh Jarrah. The mission of the YWCA of Jerusalem is to empower young women and participate in the decision making on equal footing with men in all aspects of their lives building a democratic and free civil society.

The YWCA of Jerusalem, with more than 100 years of history, clusters all its programs under four main thematic areas: Economic Development, Women’s Rights Programs, Youth Leadership Training and Civic Engagement, Children Education and Cognitive Learning.

YWCA of Jerusalem will be implementing a 9- months Project with MJO- GIZ and funded by the German Government through GIZ programme More Job Opportunities for Palestinian Youth- short term courses component.

Project title “Yalla let’s work: Digital and culinary job opportunities for marginalized Jerusalemite youth”.

The project aims at contributing to offering Palestinian youth more job opportunities and facilitating the access of Jerusalemite marginalized youth to labour market by providing vocational training and skills development

YWCA of Jerusalem is inviting candidates to apply for the position of “Media consultant”.

Contract duration: 20/6/2022 till 31/7/2022

Reports to: VTC Supervisor

Location: YWCA of Jerusalem with visits to at least 3 local universities.

Qualifications and experience:

• At least 4 years’ experience working with Media consultation.
• BA in a related specialization.
• Proven experience of working in Media consultancy.

Overall tasks: the role of the consultant is to launch, perform and lead an awareness & promotional campaign using social media and other forms, aiming at inviting applicants to the courses at hand using innovative means in order to enrol candidates
