Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team. 

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is currently seeking a Medical Activity Manager who will be responsible for reactivating services at Nasser Hospital. This entails coordinating with relevant parties to ensure adherence to the workplan and addressing any challenges that arise. The manager will play a vital role in monitoring and implementing initiatives, providing insights to the hospital's medical activity coordinator in alignment with MAP's team. Additionally, they’ll lead support for local health initiatives, working closely with MAP's senior manager, officers, healthcare providers, donors, INGOs, and other departments to enhance medical services effectively.

We’re looking for someone with experience working as medical administrative officer, specifically with a focus on hospital work, management, or data collection. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of disease surveillance protocols, as well as familiarity with the MoH guidelines for infection prevention and control. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in using electronic data collection tools, software, and mobile applications. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in in both written and verbal communication in English and Arabic, are essential.
