Position: Medical Activity Manager – Medical Point

Location: Gaza, Palestine 

Salary: ILS 6,432 per month 

Reporting to: MAP Programme Manager

With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is currently seeking a Medical Activity Manager who will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with MoH officials, representing MAP within the medical point, and coordinating medical staff to ensure adherence to protocols. Responsibilities include setting facility goals, participating in staff appraisals, monitoring performance, supervising guidelines and IPC measures, enhancing referral pathways, and designing health information systems. Additionally, the role requires overseeing a Disease Surveillance Assessment, recommending project modifications, designing a beneficiary feedback mechanism, ensuring program visibility, and integrating protection principles into clinical procedures.

We’re looking for someone with a university degree in medicine or health sciences and has extensive experience in managing, monitoring, and evaluating medical projects. The ideal candidate possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in hospital or clinic work, enabling them to set effective guidelines for patient flow and casualty management. They are well-versed in emergency protocols, safety guidelines, MOH clinical and IPC protocols, and disease surveillance methodologies. Additionally, they exhibit strong leadership and people-management skills.
