Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem is a Christian charitable institution committed to providing high quality health, social and educational services to“Mother and Child” in Palestine Caritas Baby Hospital is seeking a:
Medical archives officer
(Position is based in Bethlehem)
The successful candidate will:
1-Compile, verify, register diagnosis, and file medical records of inpatient and outpatient clinic facilities.
2-Prepare folders for and maintain records of inpatients.
3-Locate, sign out, and deliver medical records requested by hospital departments without delay.
4-Operate computer to enter and retrieve data.
5-Place patients’ medical records in their proper carton file with the designated color and number.
6-Help in registration and control of appointments for all out patient clinics
in the Hospital when primary job holder is not on duty.
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of modern office equipment
-Interpersonal/human relations skills
-Organizational skills
-Telephone etiquette skills
-Ability to maintain records and files
-Ability to operate personal computer
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Ability to exert physical effort maintaining and distributing files
-Good command of the English Language.
