Medical Emergency Trainer Assistant

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Medical Emergency Trainer Assistant, Gaza Base (1 Position)

Purpose:

This position aims to assist the MDM-F with general MOH hospital interventions mainly in the emergency departments concerning the medical staff emergency trainings, duties as assigned by the medical emergency Manager. Under the direct supervision of the Medical Emergency Manager, the Medical Emergency Trainer Assistant shall be responsible for the following, during the period mentioned above:

• To support and facilitate MDM emergency team in implement emergency trainings and follow-ups
• To support MDM emergency team in medical data entry.
• To support the MDM emergency team on the monthly report of activities.

• Currently Registered Medical or Paramedical with emergency medicine background or experience.
• At least 2 years of work experience with NGOs.
• AHA BLS & ACLS Instructor Certified or equivalent 
• Experience and/or qualification on Triage Management & hospital settings.
• Experience in data entry (qualitative and quantitative data)
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and writing)
• Strong organisational skills (including time management)
• Capacity to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Capacity to organize & conduct training.
• Good supervision & reporting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
• Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint …).
