Medical Officer

Workplace : MSF-France office in 15 street, Nablus

Type of contract : Fixed term contract 6 months (renewable according to the need)

Activity rate : Full time

Wished start date : 01/12/2020

Main Responsibilities of the position (non-exhaustive)

In this exciting and challenging role you carry out medical data collection and entry activities into the mission database recording all relevant clinical and demographic data on patients and ensuring data quality/reliability, according to MSF protocols.

Performing data entry of all epidemiological information into select databases program and creating appropriate reports, providing data for project development purposes.
Ensuring that all data entered has been authorized and that appropriate documentation has been received.
Ensuring all data collected and entered to databases is consistently accurate and complete.
Filing documents according to MSF standards.
Schedule appointments for all clinicians including calling patients to schedule/confirm appointments and responding to requests for appointments.
Deal with all incoming, outgoing and transferring of calls.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Education: degree in management, social sciences or nursing.

Experience:

At least 2 years’ work experience in dealing with patients accessing medical/mental health facility in particular front desk/reception work.

Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGO’s

Essential computer literacy (word, Advanced excel and internet) desirable Knowledge with Query Language (SQL)

Desirable knowledge on medical statistics databases

Languages: Excellent command of English & Arabic

Personal qualities: Results and quality orientated, teamwork and cooperation, behavioral flexibility, stress

Management, reporting skills.
