MEL Specialist
Chemonics International seeks an experienced MEL Specialist for the USAID-funded Trade, Investment, and Finance Activity (TIFA) in the West Bank and Gaza. This position will be based in Ramallah. We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
RESPONSIBILITES:
The MEL Specialist key responsibilities includes, though are not limited to, the following:
- Support accurate and timely data collection for project activities, following established MEL procedures, and ensure common understanding among teams on data collection expectations;
- Support the development of Activity MEL Plan, including indicators and data collection tools;
- Contribute to the development of annual work plans and regular project reports, and reviewing the MEL plan accordingly
- Develop data collection tools necessary for capturing and reporting on project indicator data, and coordinate development and utilization of tools
- Assist with high-quality, timely, and complete submission of work plans and technical and performance reports
- Compile and analyze data on project indicators for contractual reports to show the progress against project objectives and targets, and report findings to project senior leaderships, as well as prepare reports for submission to USAID.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field required;
- Minimum 4 years of experience in working with data collection and analysis, tools for MEL and adaptive management required;
- Prior experience with international development projects is preferred (Preferable with USAID projects);
- Professional excellence and strong analytical skills;
- Effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to resolve assigned tasks professionally;
- Arabic and English fluency required
