Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an international medical organization, which has been present in the Palestinian territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.
For the increase of its activities in the Nablus Governorate, MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the positions of.

Position: Mental Health Program Assistant
Duration: 10 Month –renewable.
Qualifications and skills:
- University Degree as Masters in Psychology, or similar capacities.
- Professional command of English and Arabic language (both written and spoken)
- At least two years of working experience, with an NGOs in similar capacities.
- Good knowledge of mental health and psychosocial model of interventions
- Sound understanding of child development and experience in working with children
- Supervisory experience – be able to motivate a team and work within a team environment
- Have extensive programming experience in psychosocial and mental health programs
- Coordinate all programming activities with the Mental Health Program Officer
- Have experience in training adults such as school teachers or community workers
- Be able to coordinate and liaise with Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health
- Able to work with international donor agencies
- Good knowledge and experience in implementing psycho social services with children at the community level
-Experience in programs monitoring and evaluation
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Good computer skills.
Main duties
1- Have the ability and maturity to coordinate and manage psychosocial programming activities.
2- Able to foster positive relationships with the staff at Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and the Ministry of Health
3- Coordinate all monitoring and evaluating needs of the project
4-Able to monitor and evaluate psychosocial activities.
5- Coordinate and manage workshops, training sessions, public meetings, community awareness, and psychosocial activities for the community.
6- Supervise and coordinate with MDM psychosocial team.
7- Contribute to the implementation of MDM programs in light of the objectives.
8- Establishes and maintain collaborative relationships within Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) team and with other structures and organizations.
9- Writing reports to donors in English.
