MercyCorps/ICT Business Development Manager

Mercy Corps, an international non-governmental relief and development agency, is seeking
candidates to fill multiple positions in the West Bank and Gaza, related to Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) Business Development, Capacity Building, cross border
partnerships and IT / Business Process Outsourcing. aimed at building the knowledge-based economy in the West Bank and Gaza. The ICT Business Development program is supported .by a several international donor agencies

The ICT Business Development Manager is in charge of directing day to day efforts of developing the Palestinian ICT sector, through strengthening the capacity of existing companies, support establishment of new businesses, providing support in development and utilization of financial investment instruments, and facilitation of business deals with companies in Israel, the Gulf, Europe, and beyond. The Program Manager will be in frequent contact with partners in the West Bank and Gaza, Israel, the Gulf, and the UK. The position requires an advanced university degree in Business or other relevant field or at least 10 years of relevant business experience, preferably within the ICT business sector. Candidates must have excellent organizational and leadership skills, the ability to coordinate partners’ efforts and supervise a diverse team effectively and to work independently. Proficiency in MS Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic are required. Financial management and planning skills and some experience with international donor regulations and proposal writing are essential.
