Palestine Monetary Authority
The Palestine Monetary Authority is an autonomous organization with an important role in the development of the Palestinian economy through its work in economic analysis, in supervision of
banking institutions, and in keeping the banking system sound and effective. It invites qualified
candidates to submit their resumes for the following temporary positions:
MIS Project Manager
Contract duration : 18 months
The project manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning and managing a major ERP system implementation at the PMA. The candidate should have strong project management skills,
with proven track-record in managing multi-disciplinary multi-vendor IT projects in a major institution. The candidate will work with a team of international consultants to analyze business
processes and define business requirements, and prepare the procurement documents for standard off-the-shelf ERP system and tools. The project will involve major process-re-engineering, capacity building and change within the PMA. The focus will be on accounting, financial management, treasury & banking functions, with supporting tools and processes for management reporting and data warehousing.
Key Qualifications and Experience
-Minimum BSc ( MSc or higher preferred) in IT/MIS, Management or Finance.
-At least 5 years experience in MIS project management, with at least one major ERP
implementation project. Required experience in the following areas:
-Knowledge of best practices and process in accounting, financial management and/or banking
-Experience in financial institutions or banks would be advantageous
-Experience in ERP system implementations- e.g. Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP
-MIS methodologies and techniques (Business process modeling, user requirements modeling)
-Change management and capacity planning and building experience
-Enterprise IT systems architectures, data flows & integration
-Proven knowledge in project management standards e.g. PMI or Prince2
-Experience in managing the IT project lifecycle from analysis to testing and training
-Knowledge in modern data warehousing, data marts and dashboard reporting tools

-Excellent computer skills.
-The ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Arabic and English fluently, and a demonstrated ability to make clear and concise presentations in these languages.
