Monitoring and Communications Officer
The main purpose of the position is to support the ECHO’s project manager and partners with the monitoring and communication related to the project and its activities. The main role of the M&C will include the following:
- Objectively monitor actions to ensure availability of high quality data and timely provision of information to the assigned program staff and leadership for decision-making. Tasks include the development of monitoring tools corresponding with assigned indicators, coordinate data gathering, data analysis and assist in preparation of baseline and endline reports
- Serve as a communications business partner through the full management of the project’s communication plan
- Ensure availability of programmatic data and communications content in World Vision’s system to be used by World Vision for reporting and external engagement.

University degree/background in Social Sciences or other related field with a strong grants M&E component.

At least five years of progressive work experience in monitoring and evaluation related to EU and ECHO grants.
- Experienced in developing M&E tools, quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Experience in designing or reviewing communication materials following donor regulations
- Understanding of humanitarian relief, recovery and development work
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office, SPSS and / or other relevant software (analysis software).
- Good Command of Spoken and written English.
- The position is based in Ramallah or Bethlehem.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel up to 30% domestically to project sites.
