BACKGROUND
Tasdeer is a Trade Facilitation and Customs Support programme (2020-2025; £15m) funded by UK Aid from the British Government and implemented by a consortium led by Cowater International.
Our objective is to improve the Palestinian private sector’s competitiveness and Palestinian Authority (PA) capacity in trade, customs and import policy regulation and administration. We aim to increase sustainable private sector-led economic growth and job creation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, supporting the PA’s fiscal sustainability while promoting equitable access to the benefits of increased trade and improved institutional capacity.
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Tasdeer is looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor/s to lead the implementation of M&E activities. Advisors of all experience levels are invited to apply, and the final ToRs will vary according to the preferred candidate’s skillset. Example duties include:
- Monitoring logframe targets.
- Monitoring quality and completeness of data for documenting project performance.
- Collate and disseminate data within the project for evidence-based decision-making, including course-corrections and scaling.
- Field visits for data collection/beneficiary surveys.
- Support the project and technical team in analysing data and producing reporting where necessary.
- Developing and revising M&E tools and data collection procedures in collaboration with the KMEL Director and Tasdeer’s external M&E advisors.
- Supporting/implementing midline and endline studies.
- Impact modelling.
- Documenting lessons learned/success stories.
- Liaising with Third-Party Monitoring providers.
- Producing results frameworks for new interventions, and updating existing frameworks; and/or,
- Other M&E tasks as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- At least five years’ experience working in an M&E role.
- Previous experience with donor-funded economic growth projects in Palestine.
- Strong analytical, verbal and writing skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong team player with the ability to adapt to different work styles within the team.
- Pro-activeness, dedication and a conscientious professional approach.

GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE AND DUTY STATION
Ramallah with travel in the West Bank required, and to Gaza if feasible.
