Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Administration Assistant
ANERA is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization implementing infrastructure projects in the West Bank and Gaza. ANERA is recruiting for a number of vacancies to serve under its newly awarded Palestinian Community Infrastructure Development (PCID) Program, a five-year USAID-funded program to be based in its various area offices as follows
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Administration Assistant – One Vacancy (Jerusalem)
General Roles and Responsibilities:
-Maintaining a data management system using Excel, Access, SPSS or other data management and analysis software.
-Coordinating with program staff to ensure an appropriate flow of information and proper documentation of all program activities.
-Assisting in developing surveys and interviews /focus group questions and forms.
-Assuring entry, accuracy and quality of data through data management.
-Coordinating the collection of missing or incomplete information with sub-offices.
-Following up on community contributions to meet donor contributions under the program.
-Supporting the design of data collection and analysis for collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
-Participating in and coordinating the timely collection and maintenance of the program’s statistical data.
-Coordinating closely with the Reporting and Monitoring Manager and the M&E Specialist.
-Participating in other M&E activities as needed.
Qualifications:
-An undergraduate degree in MIS or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably with a background in international organizations.
-Experience in monitoring and evaluation including data management.
-Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation techniques, including long term impact assessment.
-Experience performing statistical analyses and data entry and solid experience with statistical analysis software such as SPSS, Excel and Access.
-Arabic and English fluency (both oral and written) is essential. Excellent reporting skills are a must.
-Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external contacts.
-An expressed interest in international development through coursework, travel, and/or internship experience is desired.
-Experience with USAID’s GEO-MIS reporting system is preferred.
