Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

In the West Bank and Gaza, IREX brings an innovative youth development approach that will lead the development and implementation of the USAID-funded Partnerships with Youth program in the West Bank.
IREX is recruiting for the following full time positions for the Partnerships with Youth Program based in Ramallah, West Bank. The positions are dependent on availability of funding.
Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
IREX seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to assist with the program’s performance management. The Officer will work closely with programs team and will be responsible for data collection on performance indicators, data analysis, reporting project activities and achievements to the donor, and preparing communications documents as required. The M&E Officer will report to the M&E Manager.
Tasks & Responsibilities
-Ensure data are collected from project and partner activities in timely, reliable, valid and precise manner
-Manage data for indicators
-Provide training to project and partner staff on monitoring and evaluation
-Contribute to the development of data collection instruments
-Conduct data quality assessments
-Report project activities and achievements to USAID via GeoMIS and TraiNet
-Contribute to the development of weekly, quarterly and annual reports
-Draft communication materials to promote project accomplishments
-Assist with the development and rollout of the project’s participant management and tracking systems
-Conduct field visits to ensure the quality of data collected and to verify the accuracy of reported data
Qualifications & Attitudes
-BA degree in relevant field
-Experience working successfully with partners in districts throughout the West Bank, including rural areas
-At least 2 years of experience working with relevant programs and responsibilities
-Good computer and MS applications working knowledge and skills
-Good knowledge of English language; good Arabic and English writing skills
-Good oral and written communication skills and analytical skills
