DCIP is an independent, local Palestinian child rights organization dedicated to defending and promoting the rights of children living in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. For 25 years, DCIP has investigated, documented and exposed grave human rights violations against children; held Israeli and Palestinian authorities accountable to universal human rights principles; and advocated at the international and national levels to advance access to justice and protection for children.
DCIP is seeking a highly motivated Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer (Part
Time 50%) to support the organization’s efforts in tracking project implementation, measuring
impact, and ensuring high-quality reporting to donors and stakeholders.
The officer will work closely with program teams to develop M&E frameworks, collect and analyze data, and produce comprehensive reports that reflect DCIP’s achievements and challenges.
This Part -time position (20 hours / week), based in the West Bank city of Ramallah, offers a local salary commensurate with experience. The position reports to the Program Development Unit Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and methodologies to track project progress and impact.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to inform decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
- Support project teams in integrating M&E components into program planning and implementation.
- Conduct field visits to assess project effectiveness and gather firsthand data.
- Prepare detailed narrative and statistical reports for internal use and external stakeholders.
- Assist in proposal development by contributing M&E components and data-driven insights.
- Train staff on M&E tools and best practices to enhance data collection and utilization.
- Maintain a database of project indicators, outcomes, and lessons learned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, preferably in
a human rights or non-profit context. - Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and data collection techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with donor reporting requirements and proposal writing.
- Proficiency in data management and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or SPSS).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in child rights or human rights organizations is an asset.
