National Program Coordinator (NPC)
The Belgian Development Agency (BTC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Higher Education & Ministry of labor is implementing a program aimed at enhancing the Palestinian capacities in view of institutional development.
The program will have 3 results:
Result 1: Ministry Staff and Private Sector Organisations, involved in technical and vocational skills development facilitate and supervise the implementation of apprenticeship models within the apprenticeships scheme.
Result 2: The partners at the local level implement apprenticeships.
Result 3: The institutional and organizational capacity to award scholarships to disadvantaged youth is strengthened.
BTC is seeking to recruit highly qualified persons to fill in the following 2 vacancies:

Roles and responsibilities
1-Coordinates the implementation and follow-up of all programme activities (with a specific focus on Result 1 and 2)
2-Communicates the program objectives (focus on Result 1 and 2and modalities to all partner institutions and organizations
3-Leads the team of professionals working in the programme and coaches, motivates and supervises staff members;
4-Ensures the contact and collaboration with other programs and initiatives, such as JFA
5-Supervises the periodical reports, following the indications of the Technical and Financial File.
6-Ensures the good collaboration with the responsible officials at the central level and the local and district authorities;
7-Support scholarships with the development of the implementation strategy and the M&E of the scholarships;
8-Engages in sourcing of international expertise, establishing collaborative links between Palestinian and European organisations and institutions in the areas of TVET, Apprenticeship and Capacity Building (University departments, Teacher Training Institutes, Private Sector Organisations, and Curriculum Development Institutes etc.)
9-Presents to the Programme Steering Committee the state of progress of programme activities;
Qualification profile
1-A university degree (minimum: Bachelor level) in: social sciences, pedagogy, psychology or in
a similar field with 10 years experience in TVET sector. Master is a plus
2-A professional experience in capacity development
and institutional strengthening and programme management.
3-An excellent level of spoken and written English.
4-Has good communication, presentation and facilitation skills;
5-Uses easily the standard information technology tools.
