Network Coordinators (Math, Sciences, English and Arabic)
Part-time. 1 year position based in Jerusalem

Madrasati Palestine, led by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, aims lo improve the quality of education in selected schools in East Jerusalem. The initiative operates under the auspices of the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.

Madrasati Palestine in partnership with Queen Rania Teachers Academy and Teachers College/ Columbia is currently undertaking a professional development program which aims to support the improvement of teaching and learning in the classrooms of twenty waqf schools in Jerusalem.

Madrasali Palestine is seeking to recruit 4 dynamic and highly motivated individuals as Network Coordinators for 4 subject mailers; Math, Sciences, English and Arabic 10 work as part-timers for a period of one year.

Basic Function of Positions:
Provide technical assistance and ongoing face-lo-face pedagogical and program support to subject supervisors, network teachers and principals; explore and develop a process for expanding the network impact and disseminating good practices among non-participating teachers/schools and ensure that local capacities are well developed and sustained.

Qualifications:
A university degree (BA) in relevant content area - a masters degree is a plus;
a minimum of 7 years of experience in teaching in relevant fields;
excellent written and verbal communications skills in Arabic and English;
a team-player; and proven initiative, resourcefulness, decision making and problem solving abilities.

All positions will be based at the Department of Awqaf in Jerusalem, and are required to spend considerable time in the field.
