Main Tasks and Responsibilities
The Palestinian Museum Network & Support Engineer will be responsible for and deliver below tasks:
·Implementation and configuration for open source Systems such Zabbix, Squid Proxy, DHCP or any other systems.
·Office 365, Windows 7 & 10, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server.
·Manage and administered Linux and Windows Server and Client Systems.
·Implementing high availability and redundancy on key services.
·Knowledge in Servers and Network Security.
·Installing and configuring computer systems.
·Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
·Monitoring and maintaining computer systems (Servers, Switches, Personal computer or any computed device) and Cisco Networks.
·Talking staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
·Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
·Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems, installing & maintaining routers, adding/terminating users, assigning rights and access, resetting passwords, establishing e-mail addresses, assessing and reporting operational status, performing backups and restores or any others.
·Conducts technology orientation and exit briefing for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and existing staff.
·Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
·Testing and evaluating new technology.
Scope of Responsibilities and Supervision
The Palestinian Museum Digitization Manager will be responsible for managing network and computing system at the Museum.

.Academic qualifications and practical experience
·A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
·2-4 years in Networking and IT Support
Skills and Abilities:
·Experience with VMWare, Skype for Business, Veeam Backup and Replications
·Linux System Administration
·In depth knowledge of CISCO Networking technologies
