NGO OPERATIONS MANAGER
The International Peace and Cooperation Center (IPCC) of Jerusalem invites applicants for the position of Operations Manager. IPCC (founded in 1998) is an independent Palestinian NGO with the following interests: studies in the Jerusalem urban fabric, including urban planning and land use; development of visions and policies to be placed on the public agenda that support political, social, and economic transforming processes; building capacities and empowerment among civil society groups that move Palestinians way from conflict and toward peace and a participatory democracy. This is a senior position reporting to the Chairman of IPCC.
Primary areas of responsibilities include:
overseeing the daily operations of the organization, including supervision of various departments; conducting or leading various research or data analysis projects as assigned by the Chairman; assist in maintaining effective relationships with donor organizations and in fundraising activities; review financial statements and plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the center; monitoring compliance with governmental and donor organization regulations; oversight of human resources, including payroll, recruitment, and placement.
Requirements:
-A minimum of a MA in Management, Economics, Development, Finance, or a Social Science related to the position.
-A minimum of five years successful work experience, preferably in a collaborative, dynamic, multi-tasking work environment
-Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
-Strong analytical and presentation skills
-Computer competence, including database management and data analysis packages
-Effective interpersonal communication skills
