O&M Procurement Leader
Job Description
B&V, a USAID Contractor located in Ramallah working in the infrastructure sector throughout the West Bank is seeking experienced and qualified candidates for the following position:
Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Procurement Leader
The purpose of this position is to support the O&M team and lead the efforts in procuring equipments, tools, vehicles and other materials related to the water facilities O&M program, and
this position is based in Ramallah.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Minimum of five years experience in a procurement role; preferably working with U.S. government contracts and procurements
-Experience reviewing business contacts, and invoices, creating purchase orders and evaluating bids and proposals
-Able to demonstrate working knowledge of FAR (U.S Federal Acquisition Regulations) or AIDAR (U.S. Aid for International Development Regulations) -Highly desired
– 2 years experience purchasing; tools, vehicles, electrical and plumbing parts. And, having experience and knowledge about justifying sole prices will be an added and appreciated skill set.
-Salary will be dependent on experience, education and knowledge.
