Synergia for Workforce Management is seeking an Office Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join a Local Technology and Investment Ltd company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routine Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled maintenance on office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners, and related devices) following predefined procedures to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Replace consumables (toners, drums, rollers) and ensure the correct installation to maintain print quality and hardware efficiency.
- Assist in maintaining a maintenance schedule and tracking performance trends.
- Basic Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution
- Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues using structured troubleshooting steps.
- Guide users on basic fixes (e.g., clearing paper jams, adjusting settings) and escalating complex faults to senior engineers.
- Log incidents, actions taken, and resolutions to maintain an accurate service history.
- Installation & Configuration Support
- Assist in installing and configuring new equipment in accordance with standard guidelines, ensuring seamless integration with office infrastructure.
- Verify proper functionality post-installation and provide end-user guidance.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service requests, and repair actions.
- Generate reports highlighting maintenance trends, recurring issues, and deviations from normal operation.
- Assist in tracking spare parts inventory and notify supervisors of shortages.
- End-User Support & Communication
- Provide basic technical assistance to office staff, answering equipment-related inquiries and offering guidance on proper usage.
- Follow structured escalation protocols for issues beyond the junior role's scope.
- Compliance & Safety Adherence
- Adhere to company safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, and environmental regulations for handling consumables, electrical components, and hazardous waste.
- Identify and report potential risks (e.g., overheating, improper toner disposal) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure proper disposal and storage of used cartridges, fuser units, and other consumables.
- Continuous Improvement & Learning
- Participate in training programs and hands-on learning to enhance technical skills.
- Provide feedback on maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and adapt to new technologies.
- Stay updated with firmware and software updates, assisting in their supervised implementation.

Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or associate degree in: Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, Computer or IT Support, Industrial Technology or Office Equipment Maintenance.
- Junior Level (0-2 years) – Ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in office equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
- Technical Training & Certifications: CompTIA A+ (for hardware troubleshooting). Basic networking knowledge (for networked printers/scanners)
- Proficiency in English to read technical specifications and catalogs.
- Valid car driving license.
Work Nature: 80% Fieldwork and 20% Office work.
