Operation Manager
Job Description
Ryada, a microfinance program that operates in the Palestinian Territories seeks to hire an Operation Manager in its office in Ramallah City.
The Operation Manager will be part of Ryada's Management team and will participate in the overall planning, evaluating and monitoring Ryada's current and future operations
-Attain overall portfolio growth and quality goals and targets.
-Develop and maintain loan projections and in setting performance targets for branch managers and loan officers.
-Help prepare and review annual and quarterly branch budgets and projections in coordination with Finance and Administration Manager.
-Establish credit policies and procedures in coordination with Director.
-Oversee implementation of credit activities and ensure credit policies, procedures and standards are followed.
-Monitor credit performance of each branch office (portfolio quality, monitoring, etc.) and of the loan applications.
-Provide technical assistance to each branch team as needed.
-Communicate regularly with branch managers and regional coordinators through site visits, monthly meetings and other means on their performance including progress towards targets, portfolio quality, efficiency, branch level sustainability.
-Collaborate with Finance and Administration Manager and Director on portfolio projections, loan write off, and program income.
-Report to Director on branch and overall institution activities, targets, plans, performance, and corrective measures.
-Oversee the development of marketing materials and approaches.
-Participate in loan review committee meetings.
-Coordinate with Director on product development and establishing new branch offices.
-Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and evaluation of the branch staff and operational department staff.
-Coordinate with HR and Branch Managers on training for RYADA line staff including development of training materials.
-Facilitate periodic audits by internal and external auditors.
-BA in finance, accounting. Business administration or any other financial degree, MBA is a plus
-At least 5 years experience in management /financial positions previous experience with Microfinance is a plus
-Has organized, systematic leadership and analytical skills.
-Willing to travel extensively to the Branch offices on regular basis.
-Fluency in English language
-Excellent Computer skills
