Operations Manager
The National Carton Industry Company (NCI) is one of the pioneer Palestinian companies that have been working in the packaging sector in general and the carton industry in particular. Is seeking a highly qualified Operations Manager to perform the below activities:
Main Core of the Job:
The main responsibilities of an Operations Manager include handling & supervising the supply chain and logistics of the organization, Planning , Productions and maintenance , preparing budgets and inventories, and overseeing the supervision of employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the Productions , pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products.
- Review financial statements, Productions reports, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Aim to strengthen client relationships and ensure the successful continuance of business operations.
- Conduct office management tasks
- Ensure safety regulations are adhered to implement
- Measures to provide motivation for employees.
- Monitors quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation, and ensure the QA is implementing all quality assurance activities.
- Prepares, revise and submit reports, budgets and other documentation
- Dialogues with clientele about customer service issues or queries
- Communicates information to the departments filtered for management
- Performs training sessions
- Implements quality management and regulatory compliance strategies

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc/BA in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- Proven experience as Operations Manager preferably in a production facility or relevant role with at least of 7 years relevant experience.
- Understanding of business functions such as Production, HR,Finance,Procurement, marketing etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills (Arabic and English)
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions of the organization
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility and adaptability
- Must be customer focused, seek continuous improvement and be highly self-directed
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP )
