Operations Officer
Stars of Hope Society (SHS) Located in Ramallah, a non-profit association, registered by the Palestinian Authority, and founded in 2006 under the charitable Association and civil Bodies with license number RA-22493-C.
Stars of Hope Society is a lead organization for women with all types of disabilities in Palestine. It is a woman-centered organization, which works on a collective model. Women with disabilities run our organization, to help and empower other women with disabilities. It is the only organization of its kind in Palestine and one of a very small number internationally.
Stars of Hope Society is seeking a qualified person to fill the position of an Operations Officer.
The Role:
The Operations Officer to SHS under the supervision of the Executive Director will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of SHS’s administrative, human resources and procurement functions in Ramallah & Gaza.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Responsible for coordinating the hiring process, including job offers and onboarding,
- Responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures,
- Responsible for handling employees’ relations issues and conflicts,
- Responsible for managing the performance appraisal process,
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date employees’ records and files,
- Responsible for utilizing HR software and technology for efficient HR operations,
- Responsible for maintaining proper filing for all related matters,
- Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Procurement:
- Responsible for all tendering activities with projects team, and procurement processes,
- Responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements,
- Responsible for developing and issuing RFPs and bid requests,
- Responsible for implementing procurement policies and procedures,
- Responsible for maintaining proper filing for all related matters,
- Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Admin:
- Responsible for all administrative tasks and overall day to day office management,
- Responsible for coordinating workshops and field visits related to the projects, and follow-up during the activities to ensure proper implementation,
- Maintain office supplies and equipment,

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration or any related fields
- At least 3 years of professional relevant work experience
- Previous working experience with Non-Governmental Organizations and/or Donor organizations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command in Arabic and English
- Multi-tasking skills, and working under pressure
- Good Knowledge in MS Applications (Excel, word, …etc)
