1- Terms of reference for EDITOR / WRITER

The writer editor will provide editing/writing services as follows:
- Draft human interest stories, web material and briefing documents on the situation of
children and women and UNICEF‘s interventions;
-Ensure the text complies with UNICEF standard terminology wherever applicable (using
Glossary provided by UNICEF oPt), and that the language and styles are consistent;
-Provide finished products of high standards. The percentage of error not to exceed one
per cent;
- In case needed, edit UNICEF documents as per guidelines provided (light and heavy
editing).

2- Qualifications / experience:
Over 7 years of experience as a journalist;
Native English language;
Desirable access to West Bank and Gaza; and
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

3- Remarks for fees:
Fees will be calculated as per qualifications / background
