Objective
DAI is working in Palestine in the area of private sector development, focusing on investment
stimulation and market expansion, increased trade, and enhanced competitiveness. Our programming in the country takes a gendered M4P-based approach to promoting sustainable economic development, utilising the latest evidenced-based international best practices. DAI is seeking applications from highly experienced private sector development (PSD) specialists who have an in-depth understanding of value chain analysis and development, pro-poor market development (M4P), cluster analysis and development, business enabling environment development, business development services (BDS) provision, trade, investment and export promotion, monitoring and evaluation, gender analysis and programming, and grant management. Team Leaders will be based in Ramallah, Palestine, and will be responsible for making key decisions and solving problems in short time frames while ensuring operational and program integrity.

Requirement Qualifications:
-A minimum of 10 years of experience managing an office or programme and supervising complex and challenging field operations in closed societies, conflict environments, fragile or transitional countries, and/or war-torn societies;
-Track record of successful project team leadership on international donor funded programmes;
-Minimum of 10 years private sector development experience in developing or fragile states;
-Demonstrated experience in market development/M4P, value chains analysis and business
development services;
-Excellent English communication skills required;
-Experience working in Palestine or the Middle East preferred;
-Arabic language desirable.
