OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT 

LI is seeking to identify a Partnerships and Employment Specialist for a 3 year project focused on employment, wage subsidies and capacity building. The Partnerships and Employment Specialist will be a main point of contact with the partners in the training and employment ecosystem in Palestine while providing support to the client's team on organisational development for employment promotion programme management.

Qualifications:

Education: At least a Master Degree in Education Management or similar field.

General Experience: At least 15 years of experience in international cooperation and development

10 years of verifiable experience in the management of development projects financed by international cooperation (KFW, EU, GIZ, USAID, WB, FCDO, etc..). Experience in KfW financed projects is an asset.

Languages: English spoken and written professional proficiency. Knowledge of Arabic and/or German is an asset.

Specific Experience:

At least 6 years of experience in  design and implementation of projects of Employment promotion projects.

At least 6 years of experience in development and implementation of capacity development measures for labour market access.

At least 3 previous experiences in projects with a value exceeding EUR 10 million that involved the set up of project implementation unit (PIU) within public sector agencies, including the design of Project operations manual. 

Regional experience in the MENA region.
