Penetration Testing Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Testing Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the security posture of our clients by identifying vulnerabilities, conducting penetration tests, and providing actionable insights to strengthen their defenses. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration tests on networks, applications, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, exploit development, and security audits.
• Simulate real-world attacks to test security controls and defenses.
• Document findings and provide clear, actionable reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and validate security improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats, hacking techniques, and industry best practices.
• Assist in developing security policies, training materials, and awareness programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or cybersecurity assessments.
• Required Certifications: CCNA
• Certifications (Preferred): OSCP, CEH, GPEN, CRTO or similar.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web applications.
• Proficiency in tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Kali Linux, BloodHound and mimikatz.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Self-motivated and continuously open to learning/studying/certifying and advancing technically and personally
