Pharmacy Technician
Job Profile:
MSF Spain is looking for a Phramcy Technician in Hebron to support the drug supply management in the designated facilities under the supervision of the Mission Pharmacy Manager of the project and according to MSF health policies and protocols, in order to contribute in the guarantee of the proper management and distribution of drugs and medical devices.

Accountabilities:
- Assists weekly the medical team with regular order requests, ensures they are accurately and comprehensively filled in in timely manner to prevent unnecessary exceptional orders
- Ensures that orders from end user units have been validated by the relevant supervisor
- Ensures that the warehouse keepers are following storage, stock management and medical supply processes at project level
- Supports implementation of appropriate quality controls and records, in order to ensure good storage conditions (temperatures, humidity and light exposure) and availability of drugs and medical material, according to MSF protocols, national regulations and in cooperation with the logistics department.
- Assists the mission pharma with the reception and records of international and local orders, in close coordination with the logistics department, updates stock files and informs Mission Pharmacist accordingly.
- Drafts claims in case of reception of damaged/ non-ordered items and follows-up with mission pharmacist
- Reports quality issue faced with any medical item and/ or any pharmacovigilance case to Mission Pharmacist
- Assists the mission pharma by recording all items received and delivered (Isystock, excel, stock cards) and reports to Mission Pharmacist on unusual patterns.
- Performs the preparation of orders for each end user unit and the double-check of this order with the responsible medical person
- Make sure the passive cold chain equipment are available for mobile clinic team
- Take the lead of monthly partial and full inventories for project and emergency pharmacies. Assists the mission pharmacist to do investigations (discrepancies)
- Archives each document (hard and soft copies) in the dedicated files
- Ensures in cooperation with mission pharmacist that the medical items are swapped on a regular basis to mitigate the number of expired items (central pharmacy, kits, end of user units and EPREP)
- Keeps the Mission pharmacist informed about pre-expired and expired items for the project, supervises storekeepers through the removal of the expired items from any stock (Excel register file)
- Participates in mobile clinic activities, support the supply of drugs to patients, according to medical prescriptions, informs about any deviation on consumption patterns and storage conditions (mobile clinic activity)

Education
BA in pharmacuitical sciences.
Experience
Experience collaborating with local pharmacy systems (MoH and private) is an asset
Demonstrable experience in supervising and training others in a team setting.
Languages
Essential mission languages: Arabic and English.
Knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel
