The Abraham Path initiative has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Masar Ibrahim/Abraham Path: Economic Development Across Fragile Communities project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include Photography services for use in marketing and public relations. Responsibilities will include: producing professional photography documenting events related to the Economic Development Across Fragile Communities grant for use in marketing and public relations for the Abraham Path.
The assignment is expected to span over a 16 month period, beginning December 1, 2014 and ending March 31, 2016, with an expected effort level of 50 days over the course of the contract.
The Abraham Path Initiative now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: General Qualifications, Adequacy for the Assignment, and Relevant Experience. Candidate requirements include fluency in English, the ability to travel in Jerusalem and all areas of the West Bank, and the physical ability to participate in hikes and other physically demanding project activities. Candidates should have five years of experience in professional photography and demonstrated expertise in travel photography or similar, with particular emphasis on candid portraits of people, landscapes, and cultural events.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants [under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants] by World Bank Borrowers (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
