Location: Ramallah &Nablus
Job Type: Full time, Part time (Three days a week in Ramallah& Three days in Nablus)

Dunya Women’s Cancer Center was established in Ramallah in 2011 as a non-profit center and since 2022 dunya is under the umbrella of Dunya Women's Cancer Association. It is the first and only center in Palestine specialized in diagnosing breast and gynecological tumors.
The center has a multidisciplinary team including but not limited to: radiologists, radiology technicians, oncologist, Oncological surgery doctor, women’s doctor, nurses, lab technician and administrative staff.
Job Summary: The Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy services to women who have undergone a mastectomy or partial mastectomy, focusing on improving functional ability, reducing pain, and supporting the healing process. Responsibilities include assessing patients' physical conditions and developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients who have undergone mastectomy or partial mastectomy.
- Determine range of motion, muscle strength, and any movement restrictions or pain.
- Developing and Implementing Treatment Plans:
- Design individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including exercises for muscle strengthening, range of motion improvement, and pain reduction.
- Implement physical therapy sessions using various techniques such as manual therapy, stretching exercises, and other modalities.
- Education and Guidance:
- Educate patients on how to perform exercises correctly and minimize risks associated with physical activity post-surgery.
- Provide guidance on managing potential side effects and physical changes after mastectomy.
- Collaboration with Medical Team:
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.
- Share information and updates about patient progress with the medical team to achieve treatment goals.
- Progress Evaluation and Monitoring:
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response and condition changes.
- Document and analyze treatment outcomes to assess the effectiveness of strategies used.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, patient progress, and assessments.
- Prepare regular reports on patient status and treatment progress.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in physical therapy is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing physical therapy, preferably in cancer care or post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Skills:
- Excellent assessment and treatment skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to provide clear education and guidance.
