Position: Physiotherapist 

Type: Full-time, On-site 

Location: South of Gaza, Palestine 

Salary: ILS 3,752 per month 

Reporting to: Rehabilitation Point Coordinator  

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team. 

MAP is seeking a physiotherapist who will be responsible for providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to enhance mobility and independence for patients with disabilities. This includes conducting assessments, fitting and customizing assistive devices, and collaborating with occupational therapists and doctors. The physiotherapist will educate patients and families, document patient information, adhere to infection prevention protocols, and support team operations as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in physical therapy and will have a valid license to practice in Gaza. They have experience in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, especially in emergency contexts. The candidate should be knowledgeable about multidisciplinary approaches, assistive devices, disability rights, and relevant laws, as well as international humanitarian standards and infection prevention protocols.
