Physiotherapist Splint Manufacturing Trainer

Union of Health Care Committees (UHCC) is a grassroots, community-based Palestinian Health organization and is non–governmental and non-profit making. It was established in 1985 by a group of Palestinian doctors and health professionals seeking to supplement the decayed and inadequate health infrastructure in Gaza Strip.

Union of Health Care Committees (UHCC) is implementing "Medical Aftercare by Home Visit and Winterization Support for War Affected Vulnerable People in the Gaza Strip" project through partnership with Campaign for Children of Palestine (CCP)Funded by the Japan Platform.

UHCC’s project aims prevent the most vulnerable groups, especially wounded children, malnourished children, and disaster-affected populations, from being abandoned and left behind, and aims at strengthening resilience of each beneficiaries and its family and community in order to establish the previous project outcomes and the sustainable system after the conclusion of the project.

UHCC seeks qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy:

Position title: Physiotherapist Splint Manufacturing Trainer
Training  Duration:  4 days
Directly Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Location: Gaza City

Summary Job Description:

One of UHCC's direct activities is to conduct a training session, 5 hours a day for 4 days, for a target of 20 physiotherapists on the topic of splint manufacturing.  The Trainer will be hired to prepare the training material, lead the training, involve other complementary trainers to train in specific specialized areas, if necessary, and provide a final report.


Trainer Qualification

-    At least two years’ experience at Physiotherapy scope.
-    Proven experience of conducting trainings
-    Confidence, Positivity, and Eagerness to work with a team
-    Strong English reporting skills.

Submission of Proposal

Qualified and interested consultants are required to submit a detailed proposal with the following components:

-Technical Offer that will include:

-a detailed methodology on how the assignment will be conducted, and,
-a clear and comprehensive work plan outlining the major activities and implementation time schedule, among other relevant information.

-Financial offer based on training Hour cost in US Dollars
