MA'AN Development Center is seeking to fill the vacant position of a full time
PROJECT PLANNING, MONITORING, AND REPORTING coordinator
Based in GAZA to monitor MA'AN's projects in GAZA
The Purpose:
The role of the PMR coordinator is to assist in planning, monitoring and reporting of ongoing project to ensure high quality program implementation including MA'AN’s various projects and activities.
Major Duties Include:
1-Responsible for the development of different monitoring tools, preparing monitoring plans and conduct monitoring activities.
2-Responsible for the Project database ensuring project information is up-to-date and accurate.
3-Responsible for the data collection, compilation and analysis.
4-Prepare monitoring reports using data collection tools developed by MA’AN
5-Identifying and documenting lessons learnt; collecting information for case studies; and facilitating periodic reviews, and prepare presentation on achievement of MA’AN projects
6-Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual progress reports in cooperation with the Program Manager for various projects.
7-In coordination with the Program Manager, establishing a reporting schedule in accordance with the requirements of the various ongoing projects and ensuring adherence to the reporting deadlines.
8-To work together with our Monitoring Officer in Ramallah office to make sure compliance to the overall monitoring system.
9-To work with Gaza office Director, and the Programs Manager in formulating new projects.
Job Qualifications:
-A university degree in development, management, business administration, or related field.
-A preference will be given to experience of three years in monitoring and evaluation
-High skills in planning, monitoring and reporting.
-Experience & familiarity in Palestinian issues and the NGO sector
-Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
-Advanced computer literacy.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Ability to start working immediately.
Skills and Personal attributes:
-Proficiency in writing in English and Arabic
-Report and proposal writing in both languages
-Computer (MS-Office)
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Adept skills in project cycle management
-Working within a team
-Ability to work under pressure
-Willingness to do extensive field work
