Job Starting date: 1 July 2023

Bethlehem University is seeking a full-time Plant Personnel Director to work with the current Director until 31 August 2023 after which the successful candidate will assume full responsibilities.  The position holder ordinarily works 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; evening and, weekend flexibility is required and holidays in an emergency.

The Plant Personnel Manager administers the day-to-day and overall functioning of the Facilities Maintenance Unit efficiently and safely. The position holder maintains a preventative maintenance plan; ensures the cleanliness of campus facilities and maintenance of gardens; receives and dispatches maintenance and cleaning requests; recommends when external contractors are needed; and requisitions necessary equipment, tools, and supplies.

The Plant Personnel Director provides coaching, guidance, and leadership to team members to elevate the team’s performance, as well as establishing an efficient work assignment system for timely cleaning and repairs of facilities, equipment, furniture, etc.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in facilities management or related experience.
  • Minimum BA in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Management, or a related field.
