JOB VACANCY - PLANT/WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Al Pinar General Trade Company a leading Palestinian company in Dairy Product Manufacturing is seeking to hire a highly motivated and energetic person for the PLANT/Warehouse Manager

Primary Responsibilities including but not limited to the following;

-Planning, organizing and controlling of Plant/ warehouse" overall operation
-Develop and implement efficiency and cost effective plan for warehouse operation
-Manpower planning
-Establish efficient security, stock control and optimum storage conditions for all company's raw materials and product line
-Ensure that all orders arrive and dispatched on time to the right destination and in the right quantities
-Implement and manage efficient system to account for all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods
-Carefully monitor stock levels in storage and communicate to the concerned parties
-Liaise closely with the production and sales managers in order to keep them accurately informed of stock levels of finished goods available for distribution and levels of raw materials for production
-Provide early warning of likely shortage to prevent any interruption to the availability of finished goods for sale or raw materials for production
-Constantly seek new ways to improve plant the plant warehouse/stores efficiency and cost effectiveness
-Oversee the maintenance and servicing of all warehouse/stores machinery and equipment and vehicles.
-Keep and produce accurate records of work done including records of produced goods, removed goods for sale and returned goods.
-Keep and produce accurate records of damaged stocks returned and reason and the nature of the damage
-Provide regular warehouse/stores information and performance report to upper management
-Issue inventory report In/Out ,dead stock report.manpower status report.
-Ensure the facility is a safe work environment place
-Provide timely feedback and recommendation to upper management for plant improvement
-Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.

Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelors Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Food or Industrial,) Management. Higher degree is a plus
-At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Experience of handling and storing limited shelf-life and perishable FMCG ESPECIALLY DAIRY PRODUCTS
-Hands on experience of managing and supervising a busy warehouse/storage facility and workforce.
-Proven knowledge of Distribution and logistics
-Ability to prepare delivery and ordering schedule and plan ordering and delivery cycle
-Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
-Possess leadership quality and communication skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills and technical knowledge of dairy manufacturing.
-Excellent knowledge of MS computer software
-Proven understanding of health and safety and food hygiene issues associated with limited shelf-life and perishable goods.
