POSITION#2: social worker

Ministry of Health seeks candidates for the following positions to work in the mental
health center for children and adolescents located in Halhoul, as a joined project
between MoH, MDM-Suisse, UNDP &AFD.

Duration of all vacancies: starting 01/07/09 for one-year Full time (some modifications
are possible according to the needs and the context).
Job location of all vacancies: Halhoul, Hebron governorate
POSITION#2: social worker
• University degree in social work or related field
• At least two years of working experience, preferable in the field of children and adolescents
• Good computer skills; Good English speaking
Main duties
• To provide counseling interviews (group and individual); to organize psychosocial
activities based on clients ‘needs, to encourage child development through specific
recreational activities; to organize and participate in home visits; to network with local
social partners and local schools;
• To write reports on activities;
• To participate in de-stigmatization activities among the community
