Pre-sales IT Engineer

 Professional for Information Technology Services (PITS) is stablished in 2004 as a Palestinian company specialized in GPS and  Location based services.    
The company provides complete solutions for real-time vehicle tracking (PITS-Track), smart school bus (PITS-School), and field resource management (PITS-Personal), merchandise tracking, containers tracking and management and an online application.
PITS provides wire and wireless network professional services (PITS is MikroTik master distributor).

Key accountabilities and role outputs

• Provide trusted technical advice and recommendations to customers and colleagues alike.
• Influence, persuade and negotiate with senior stakeholders in member and customer organizations
• Engage directly with sales and account teams to support pre-sales activities.
• Develop excellent working relationships with partner organizations to ensure effective collaboration in responding to customer needs.

• Act as the lead technical adviser to project teams, colleagues and customers providing specialist technical expertise of the highest level

• Contribute to the development and deployment of new technologies .
• Maintain and develop the required technical knowledge by attending relevant meetings, workshops and events.

• Responsible to identify the right vendors for a technology

• Build new client relations and brings in new client accounts.
• Approach old clients and schedule visits to bring new opportunities .

Skills, knowledge and experience

• University degree in computer engineering, information technology, or related fields.
• Solid technical background with understanding for IT and network solutions
• A very thorough understanding of IP and optical network operations and network infrastructure design principles

• Cisco Certified and Mikrotik Experience is plus
• A good understanding of sales methods and processes
• Ability to work independently within a fast evolving technical environment
• Strong influencing and negotiation skill
• Problem solving skills, flexible attitude, resourceful and effective in making decisions
• Flexible in approach and able to adapt to new situations and issues
• Driving Licence
