Job Requirements

Experience:

Four years of experience in a media outlet, international organization, government, or the private sector, with experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or public affairs within the Palestinian and/or Pan-Arab context is required.

Education Requirements:

A university degree in Journalism, Media, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or local equivalent is required.

Languages:

Fluent (speaking/reading/writing) in English is required. (This will be tested).

Fluent (speaking/reading/writing) in Arabic is required. (This may be tested).

Skills and Abilities:

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to speak publicly; write reports, press releases, and other products; engage in online forums; and contribute to publications in English and Arabic.

Must have thorough knowledge of various computer software programs, specifically Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and databases.

Must be able to independently travel throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem. Must be able to work irregular hours (occasional nights and weekends) in person, throughout Jerusalem and the West Bank, and arrive to work on short notice.
