Procurement and Logistics Manager

 

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a non- governmental global, humanitarian, non-profit organization dedicated to provide mental health and psychosocial assistance to populations affected by wars, conflicts and disasters through the provision of services and capacity building. IMC overall aim is saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, IMC's mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide.

Scope of Work:

-Plan and execute tenders and purchase orders for all procurement.
-Collect bids and contact suppliers.
-Maintain preferred supplier lists.
-Ensure procurement and logistics compliance with all donor regulations.
-Preparing sub-awards reports and maintain data in regards to compliance with Donor’s regulations.
-Arrange importation of goods and ensure clearance through borders and chain of custody where required.
-Assist the finance Department on any documentation relevant to procurement and audit requests.
-Provide logistical support to all programs in compliance with IMC standard logistics procedures.
-Maintain and update monthly IMC Gaza assets, inventory list and conduct physical liaison with other staff.
-Supervise Transportation Officer and advice on fleet management issues.
-Supervise Warehouse officer and advice on warehouse management issues.
-Assist the Mission Director in any administrative requirements as well as GIK clearance.
-Provide weekly and monthly logistics reports preparations.
-Responsible for managing minor office / guest house repairs and payment of utilities including telephone and internet.
-Coordinate with the Security and Liaison Manager on any travel arrangements and reservations needed.
-Ensure all reporting for donors and headquarters is submitted on time.
-Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

-Procurement Tracking report   
-Cargo Movement Register         
-Vehicle & Generator Report
-Warehouse Report 
-Different donor reports as per the donor requirements             

Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in related field
-Five year of experience with Logistics and procurement preferably in NGOs
-Excellent verbal and written English skills. 

Skills:
-Knowledge of USAID procurement regulations
-Knowledge of  suppliers in  Gaza
-Organizational skills and attention to details
-Flexibility and motivation to learn
-Excellent communication skills
